Description

Since the mid-1980s, artisan Linda Boyle Gibson has specialized in weaving traditional, functional baskets with unusual accents and bright colors. The Indiana landscape provides her with many vines and grasses that embellish her rattan baskets. In addition to making her own creative designs, she is a well-known instructor in basket making classes locally and around the country.

This sturdy rattan basket is perfect for stashing bills, yarn or foods such as potatoes. It measures 13" L x 11" W and stands 7" tall, not including the ash bushel side handles. Woven with natural rattan and hand-dyed twisted seagrass, it has been dipped in natural walnut stain and finished with mineral oil, making it safe for holding food.
