Description

Christy Fisher uses recycled glass that is crushed, melted and kiln-cast into shape. When cooled, it is acid treated to give the texture and appearance of beach glass. Gold foil is applied behind each stone, making the light refract from within. Silver wire is handcrafted to form chain details.

Both necklace and bracelet are in multiple colors and are made of 13mm glass stones that are slightly smaller than a nickel.

Christy Fisher is a jeweler and art-to-wear designer who spent the earlier part of her career as a seamstress to 60's and 70's era rock and roll bands, including members of Derek and the Dominoes (Eric Clapton), Wings, and Frank Zappa.
