As part of the riders' community service committment, riders raise funds to help ensure needed community projects succeed during the summer and to help provide improved educational curriculum to U.S. students in low income areas.

Bike-Aid is a program of Global Exchange, a non-profit organization dedicated to social justice and human rights, and will oversee the collection of monies raised to ensure that funds are applied as committed to build stronger communities.
