Queen City Police Foundation
QCPF Fundraiser auction
Bid now and support the Queen City Police Foundation
Each year, the Queen City Police Foundatin provides funding for innovative projects within the Burlington Police Department which would not be available through the city's budget. Previous year's projects have included the acquisition of Parks Patrol Bicycles, Police Motorcycles, Mobile Data Terminals for use in police cruisers and a new Crime Scene Investigation Van.
This year, the Foundation hopes to supply the BPD with Mobile Repeater Units to provide officers in the field with better communications with other officers on scene as well as with other safety personnel in the field. Imagine an officer calling in for backup but his radio transmission isn't received due to lack of signal.
Dollars raised from this auction and the 2005 Annual QCPF Luncheon will go directly to preventing this scenario and increase the safety of officers in the field.
The QCPF 2005 Luncheon will be held June 1 at The Wyndham in Burlington. For more information on how you and your business can be part of this event, please call 802.654.9311.
