American Red Cross - Sacramento Sierra Chapter Auction Coming Soon!
The American Red Cross, Sacramento Sierra Chapter online auction will help support disaster relief efforts in our 9 county jurisdiction, which serves over 2 million people.
During the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, we trained over 2,000 volunteers in disaster services and deployed over 500 volunteers to the hurricane affected region. Locally, we provided food, clothing and housing to over 500 hurricane-affected families who self-evacuated to the Sacramento area. Recently, we deployed more volunteers to assist in the hurricane relief effort throughout the holiday season, while continuing to respond to nearly a disaster a day locally.
The Sacramento Sierra Chapter is able to carry out it's mission of providing disaster relief assistance, free of charge, because of our dedicated volunteers and supporters.
Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So tell your friends, family and community that the bidding is about to begin! Online bidding will begin March 1, 2006 at 8:00 AM
