The online portion of United Way Golf Event is now open. The auction will run from June 16, 2006 to July 7, 2006, with the live event taking place on July 10, 2006. Proceeds from this event will provide safe haven for Children in Crisis through various shelter services (140 children were on the street last January...not in a shelter, ON the street),havens if there is abuse in family and when there is a case, handled with care, compassionate medical examinations in sexual abuse cases, counseling, and dating violence awareness programs.
