Heart For The Arts was a great success. Thank you all for taking the time to support Creative Arts Charter School and the arts in public schools. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who:

• invited family, friends and community to make their bid to build a better world.

I also want to thank the following individuals who gave up two months of evenings with their families in order to bring the online auction to you - Tina Gillmor, Nancy Schecker, Effie Fletcher, and Stephanie Godt; Lisa Hubbert, who worked late nights, after working her day job, through the end of her pregnancy to create our Heart For The Arts logo, posters, postcards and tickets; Leslie Lombre for PR; Darrow Boggiano for her citywide poster campaign; Angkana Kurutach and Charles Phan for bringing food to our live event; Scott Stumbo for securing spirits to quench our thirst; Jeannie Stone for securing entertainment, and the entertainers - Scott Stone, Double Gammon, Miss Henry; Jay Lane and Dave Shul and Friends; Satori Yoga for volunteer services and promotion; Academy of Art University for promotion and donations; Renee Richardson and KFOG for Auction services and promotion; the check-in and check-out volunteers; Bob Kayne and Gary Fusco; Ellen Hintz-Shimabukuro and Stephanie Boyce; Aida Lane, for keeping me on course; Queen Eileen (for making sure I ate breakfast) and the set-up volunteers; CACS Board of Directors for supporting me in taking the auction online; the support staff at cMarket for all the time coaching us; Steve Good for all the additional work and phone calls he was requested to perform; and my wonderful clients who had to listen to me talk about the auction for the last three months and still they support it. I'm honored to have worked with you.

Our 2006 auction is a success thanks to each of you and because of the wonderful community that is - Creative Arts Charter School.
