This fretless bass is hand crafted as a new concept of a custom semi-hollow bass.  Even though the bass won't work for musical purposes, it could be used as a wall hanging or center piece.  The local craftsman, Elliot Cross, used woods found in the region with the main body done with American Elm from a tree cut down in his grandmother's back yard and the neck from oak found in Crosby, ND.  The hardware is fender-standard hardware and the strings are the old strings off of Sam Christopher's bass.
