With YOUR help, we raised over $9000--after expenses, which were generously covered by our sponsors!

ISU's student pharmacists want to thank YOU for making it happen--every supporter, including more than 1500 unique visitors to our online auction and an estimated 500+ attendees at our live event had a part in making it happen!

About our goal and our live event... 

You may remember our goal of $20,000, which was somewhat dependent on the sale and sponsorship of our trips, sports memorabilia, and more, through cMarket. Since none of those items sold, our catalog value was determined from our local donations. Our "local items," mostly available for preview online, were auctioned in silent or live auctions at our live event, and added up to over $6700 of our total. Approximately $800 was generated from items sold online only. Our 70 raffle items, valued at $1000+, were also an amazing feature at our live event, generating over $700. The Jelly Belly Bean Count Contest for "all the beans" (3000+) and the 1.0 gigabyte MP3 player sponsored by Wal-Mart and OfficeMax also added value and great fun for the kids (young and young-at-heart) at our live event. The food and live music were also a huge hit. It was a great evening!

About Thomas, our Make-A-Wish beneficiary... 

ISU's student pharmacists have been eager to honor the spirit of "charitable professionalism"--so important to us as professionals--by saying "thank you" to our community with a portion of our proceeds. Our beneficiary this year has been a very special 5-year old, Thomas, our Make-A-Wish beneficiary from Pocatello. Thomas' wish was/is to take a trip to Disney World with his family over spring break. His trip is done, and we are told that our contribution of $3500 from the proceeds of our auction will go a looooooong way toward helping them take the trip of Thomas' dreams to Disney World. This would not have been possible without your generous support!
