Description

John Argyle aka "Dr. Sox" aka "Jungle John" is a multi-talented student pharmacist in the class of 2009. One of his many talents is his "green thumb," which is nicely evident in the beautiful plants he has been nurturing for about 6 months just for our auction!

Shown is a plant known as Guzmania (a type of bromeliad, a relative of the pineapple). The large plant in the background is the "parent" of the small plant in the front. John is keeping the "parent" plant, so we'll be offering the small version--it is just amazing what it can become! Given just the right amount of TLC, this plant flowers annually. Very cool!

Several in our group of nearly 40 plants from John are Guzmania. We will have these available for raffle/silent auction/live auction (TBD) at our live event. The picture really does not do them justice!

Special Instructions

Wow--you'll want to see these plants in person, so they will be available for raffles/silent auction/live auction (TBD) ONLY at our live event. Get your live event tickets today so you don't miss out on this opportunity.

Thank you, John, for sharing your many talents with us in the form of these beautiful plants!!!
