El Museo's 2007 Gala will be a masked ball unlike any before. Guests won't wear just any masks but one-of-a-kind creations from some of the world's most renowned designers - from Chairs Isabel and Ruben Toledo and Honorary Chair Carolina Herrera to James Galanos, Michael Kors, Nicole Miller, Robert Lee Morris, Narciso Rodriguez, Diane von Furstenberg, and over 30 more. A selection of these masks - meticulously crafted and generously donated - was available in this online auction. 

The black tie dinner, which will take place on May 24, 2007 at Cipriani 42nd Street, promises to be a dazzling affair. The evening's individual honorees are Trustee Claudia Madrazo de Hernandez and her husband Roberto Hernandez, Chairman of Banamex.  The corporate and foundation honorees are Altria Group and the Reed Foundation.  Members of the honorary committee - the designers who generously donated masks - will also be in attendance.
