Generously donated by Flying Deer Nature Center in New Lebanon, NY, a week at Otter Slide Camp is a great step up for campers 8 and up!

For our first four days campers will encounter exciting challenges and learn some key crafts of camp, including group shelter, bone tools, earthen containers, bark cordage, primitive cooking, and much more. Thursday evening to Friday afternoon will be our overnight where families are invited to join us to experience the joy and wonder of spending time in nature as a “village community; camping, playing, learning, and relaxing together."

Monday through Wednesday camp will follow typical day camp hours, from 9am-3pm. On Thursday campers will arrive at 9am and stay until 1pm the following day! Families are invited to join us on Thursday afternoon or evening and stay until the program ends on Friday. Together we will have dinner, enjoy a night-time adventure, and sleep in shelters we construct ourselves or out under the stars. Friday will provide us with time for craft making, wild edible collecting, and exciting journeys before we part.

Includes a week of camp for a child and an overnight adventure for one parent and child. Camp runs July 9-13. This item will be featured on our Live Auction.
