Dear Members of the Kent Family,

It is time to pick up speed for our second Auction to Benefit Kent School, scheduled for Tuesday evening, October 6th at Christie's in New York City. For those of you who attended our first auction in February 2008, you know what an exciting venture this was for Kent! We were thrilled to net over $103,000 for the Annual Fund, which directly benefitted our students and the many academic, athletic and extra-curricular programs that enrich their experience.

We are currently seeking donations for silent, live and online venues and are reaching out to all members of the Kent family for their involvement. I sincerely hope you will consider contributing an item or experience, as well as make plans to attend the event itself. With your support, we are confident we will do even better this year.

Here are a few examples of the types of items we are seeking:

• Use of vacation homes, weekend destinations
• Fine wines
• Luxury items
• Sports and/or theatre tickets
• Spa packages or services
• Golf outings
• "Unique experiences" (Sunset cruise? Lunch with someone famous?)
• Something new...be creative and use your imagination.
