Description

Artist's note:  "Eddy's Brother" was inspired by a former Scottish pro, whose brother, Eddy Straighton, was a close family friend of mine."  "Eddy invited us to Scotland...to play those famous links (Turnberry) just 3 weeks before the Open took place."  "As a tribute to his brother, and in abject gratitude to Eddy, I did the piece with the idea that golf gives golfers continuity, a perpetual love of the game and its similar course to life...through his swing, as a portrayal of motion."
Welded steel road and steel plate base on rustic wood base.  25 inches high, 30 inches wide, 12 inches long, 35 lbs. February 2005.
