Spotlight 2009
"15th annual Spotlight event to raise awareness of HIV disease in Indiana"
Now in its 15th year, Spotlight is the only night of the year when the best Central Indiana performing arts organizations donate their time to perform at Clowes Memorial Hall to raise money for HIV/AIDS education, prevention and testing programs across Indiana. Due to their donations and the time and talent of more than 200 volunteers, nearly 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly into Hoosier communities.
Join us on April 21, 7:30 p.m. at Clowes Memorial Hall for Spotlight 2008: One Night, One Stage, One Reason.
All proceeds from Spotlight 2008 will be used by the Indiana AIDS Fund to support the agencies and programs that educate and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and serve those living with the disease. Spotlight 2008 has a fundraising goal of $500,000.
The Indiana AIDS Fund began in 1994 and has become the largest private funder of HIV and AIDS programs in the state of Indiana. It is a fund-raising and grant-making organization dedicated to supporting programs and services that help educate and assist Hoosiers with HIV/AIDS. To date it has provided more than $3.8 million to more than 60 organizations across Indiana.
Auction items range from vacation getaways and sports tickets to autographed items and jewelry and so much more!
So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
