CEO is committed to ending childhood hunger.  Summer time isn't always fun.  For many children in our communities, summer is a time of uncertainty.  Uncertainty about what they will eat.  During the school year, thousands of local kids eat free breakfast and lunch at school, but with school out for the summer - many kids miss out on the critical nutrition they need to grow. This summer, CEO & the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank will be serving summer lunches to more than 1,200 at-risk children in 40+ locations in Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties.
