The online portion of our 2008 Gala Auction is now open.  The auction will run from October 27, 2008 to November 17, 2008, with the live event taking place on November 21, 2008. Proceeds go to Ozanam Place in order to support single parents who are at risk of homelessness.  Auction items range from fun vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise.  So, tell your friends, family, community. Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and mission.  Ozanam Place is a two-year voluntary supportive services program that offers our clients intensive case management, networking with other service providers and effective utilization of existing resources.  Our Case Managers help our clients set goals for achieving affordable housing, education, employment, health needs, counseling and life skills.  Our ultimate goal is to empower single parents and their children to escape poverty by giving them the tools they need to succeed.  Combined with our after care program, Ozanam Place can follow a family for up to seven years.  We do not take money for our services and are completely privately funded.  We need your help to keep our program alive and allow us to help single parent families in our community
