2008 Healthy Aging Auction
The 2008 Healthy Aging Auction is now open. The auction will run from December 1, 2008 to December 15, 2008, with proceeds benefiting the Center for Medicines & Healthy Aging (CMHA), the ASCP Foundation's new consumer initiative to provide practical information to help older adults and those who care for them make the best use of medicines to live a healthier and more active life.
Auction items range from original works of art featured on the cover of The Consultant Pharmacist journal to exotic vacation getaways to photos and jewelry donated by generous ASCP members. So, tell your friends, family, and colleagues, and get in on the bidding!
Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support the Center for Medicines & Healthy Aging (CMHA).
The CMHA Web site is a resource for practical information to help older adults and their caregivers make the best use of medicines to live a healthier and more productive life. Although a number of Web sites provide general drug information, the CMHA site provides unbiased information focused on medicine use in older adults, including the potential impact of combinations of multiple medicines, the importance of adherence to medication regimens, and other issues.
