“Meditation" & “Mandarin Garden" were created by Florin Gompf, 86, who grew up in Vermont and was trained as a nurse. She has had success with her mix-media collages, examples of which are shown here. Gompf has had several one-person shows in New York City. She lives in Fairfax County, Virginia.
