The Easton Lions Club was recently named the Most Outstanding Lions Club in the world (out of more than 45,000 clubs!) by the Lions Club International! 

 

The Easton Lions Club will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items (including a car !) to bid on to raise money for local charities and youth and community groups. 

The Cable TV Auction will be held on January 31, 2010 starting at 2pm on Easton's Community Access Channel. 

We hope that you will help us help others by donating something for the auction, as 100% of the net proceeds are donated to charities and community service groups.
 
The Lions seek to fulfill the challenge issued many years ago by Helen Keller: “To be the knights against darkness”. To that end, we support research to prevent blindness and efforts to help and improve the standard of living of sight impaired people around the world
 
The more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.*

Give a little and get a lot in return. Whether you have 1 item or 100 to contribute, your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts. By donating an item or service directly online, you'll be helping to raise money and you'll receive a mention on our site that can link back to your own web page.

All donated items (received by us by January 24) will be available to be viewed by the public on the Auction Website, including both a picture of the item (or of your business) and a description of the item.  The sooner a donation is made, the sooner it is available for viewing on the Auction Website.

• Digital photos of the item or business for display on the Auction Website may be submitted by email to auction@eastonlions.com, or through the Auction Website.
• All of the items will be auctioned off on Easton's Community Access Channel on January 31, 2010 starting at 2pm.
• In the past we have received a variety of donated items, including products, services, gift certificates, and cash donations.

You can drop your items off at Floral Impressions (ask for Caroline) located in North Easton on Washington Street just north of Main Street. If  you prefer to have us add the item to the website for you then we will be happy to take a picture and upload the image. Be sure and let us know if you have a website so we can include a link.
