Local artist Richard Forand, one of a series of paintings, grieving the loss of his wife.  The grieving flower is a metaphor expressing his love.  Richard has a MFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.  He shows his art at AS220 in Providence RI. Richard lives in Pawtucket RI, and is planning a show entitled "Grieving Wall".
