Silver Oak?s Napa Cabernet is more limited in availability than their Alexander Valley Cab. The Wine Advocate gave this 92 points and described the 2001 as a blend of "86% Cab, 8% Merlot, 4% Cab Franc, 2% Petit Verdot offering a big, smoky, herb, black currant, tobacco, spice box, and barbecue spice-scented bouquet, and broad, medium to full-bodied, concentrated, sweet, jammy flavors with plenty of sexy, toasty American oak in the background." They called this "a hedonistic fleshpot of a wine" to drink from 2006 through 2018. What's not to enjoy?!
