The Children's Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh (CFC), one of the premier children's choral ensembles in the country, is now in its 26th year of providing superior choral education and performance opportunities to children and a professional-level children's choir to area audiences.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director Christine Jordanoff, professor of Music Education and Director of Choral Organizations at Duquesne University, CFC educates and nurtures talented young singers to find their vocal instruments and express themselves through song. "What a Wonderful World", CFC annual Spring Concert, will take place at North Hills High School on April 26, 2009. CFC often performs with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera, Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, and many others, as well as performing at community events.
