At its 25th Anniversary Concert in Spring 2008, the Children's Festival Chorus premiered "Pittsburgh Portraits," a commissioned five-movement musical work created especially for children's choruses with music by composer Jeffrey Nytch and lyrics about Pittsburgh by 4 CFC students and one CFC alumnus.
