Description
Take a day trip to one of Kentucky's largest and most culturally inspired cities!
Start the day with a visit to the Frazier International History Museum. History comes alive at the Frazier International History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky in our 100,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art museum encompassing three floors. Here you can re-live historical events that challenged our ancestors. Here you can meet heroes, generals, and famous leaders of America and the world whose military victories –- and defeats –- changed history.
Next head over to the Kentucky Derby Museum to see the history of one of the things which the state is famous for: horse racing. Sitting directly in front of the historic Churchill Downs, the Museum welcomes over 200,000 people every year. After opening in 1985 and a major renovation in 1999, the museum has continued to improve as a learning established since its creation.
After taking in the sights of Louisville, rest your legs at Puccini's Smiling Teeth. Offering the delicious Italian food that has made it such a success since its founding and following geographic expansion to locations in several states, you surely will be satisfied by the quality and authenticity of the dishes.
