The online portion of The Best of Baltimore Reads: The First 20 Years silent auction is now open.  The auction will run from January 1, 2009 to January 23, 2009, with the live event taking place on January 24, 2009.

Proceeds go to Baltimore Reads in order to support our mission of 100% literacy for Baltimore.  Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise.

Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and mission. Since 1988, Baltimore Reads has been improving the quality of life for educationally disadvantaged adults and their families. We believe that education is the key to economic and social empowerment. Through our programs, students gain the necessary skills for self-sufficiency, employment and life-long learning.
