MITSS Online Auction Will Be Opening Soon.

Starting on October 26, 2009, MITSS (Medically Induced Trauma Support Services) will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to raise funds for our organization. 

You can see a preview of the items we will be offering by clicking on the View Items button.  We hope you will be as excited about our auction as we are and will support us with your bids.

In addition, we will be having a Dinner & Fundraiser on November 12th which will include a live auction and many items for raffle.

Kelley Tuthill, a member of Team5 Investigates, WCVB TV/DT's investigative unit, will be the auctioneer and emcee and the keynote speaker will be Susan E. Sheridan, Co-Founder and President of Consumers Advancing Patient Safety (CAPS).  Ms. Sheridan became involved with patient safety after her family experienced two serious medical systems failures.   

In years past this has been a wonderful fun-filled event.

Items to be auctioned live at the Dinner include

  • a Red Sox VIP Package including 4 Green Monster tickets, a tour of Fenway Park, and watching batting practice from the field 
  • a Lottery Scratch Ticket Cornucopia with over $500 in scratch tickets
  • 2 hours of music in your home by the Winiker Orchestra's trio  

Raffle items include jewelry, electronics,tools and a variety of wonderful baskets (Irish, I Feel Pretty, Family Game Night, Starbucks, Chocolate Lover's, American Girl, Ice Cream Sundae, Arbonne, Black and Tan Beer, Christmas, Baby, Scrapbooking, MITSS, Reading, Travel Game, Mayan Farm Tortillas) and other items.

MITSS (Medically Induced Trauma Support Services) was founded to create an awareness about the impact of medical trauma, promote open and honest communication among patients, families, and caregivers, and to provide support services to all individuals who have been affected by a medically induced trauma.
