Enjoy a day at Southwick's Zoo in Mendon.  It is more than just a zoo. 

New babies who arrived in Spring 2009 include:  the Bearded pigs, marmoset monkeys, piglets, Fallow and Sida deer, elk, goats, chimpanzee and giraffe.

Other things to do and see include the Marangu Trail Outpost, Mowgli (the African Leopard) in his gorgeous habitat, the Sky Ride where you can view the zoo from new heights, the bearded pigs (5 feet long) from Borneo and a white Bactrian Camel. 

Tickets for mechanical and animal rides can be purchased for an additional fee.
