Starting on May 1, 2010, The Cornerstone School’s Starlight Online Auction is auctioning off a number of fun and unique items that we invite you to bid on to raise money for our non profit school. The more items we have the more money we can raise, so we’re asking for your help. You can help by bidding on our auction items, donating additional items to the auction or sponsor our web page. Please show your support by clicking on the “Donate Items” button to contribute to our catalog. Your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts. The money raised from this event will be used to keep tuition costs down, advancing programs and continuing our commitment to excellence in education.

Auction Terms & Conditions
All sales are final. All items are sold as is. No exchanges or refunds are possible.
Many of the items have specific conditions such as time limits, availability, etc. The buyer is responsible for contacting the donor for any conditions or restrictions. The buyer is responsible for being aware of exclusions, time limits, requirements, etc., stated on gift certificates or donor forms. Unless otherwise specified, arrangements for dinners, vacations, or other activities will be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date with the donor(s).
Restaurant gift certificates do not generally include gratuity, tax, or alcoholic beverages, and may not be exchanged for cash unless specified otherwise. Please tip generously and express your gratitude on behalf of The Cornerstone School.
All items purchased must be picked up at The Cornerstone School located at 2313 S E Lake Weir Ave. on Saturday May 16th between 1-4 pm. If not possible, please email lrp.md@att.net to make other arrangements. Please call 351-8840 between 1 pm and 4 pm Saturday, May 16th.
Items, with the exception of gift certificates, will not be delivered or shipped.
It is the Auction Committee’s intent to describe accurately all auction items with the information provided by the auction’s generous contributors. Cornerstone School does not appraise or estimate the fair market value of Auction items, and all statements of value appearing in the catalog have been furnished by the contributors. The Auction Committee has made a good faith effort to furnish donors accurate and sufficient information.
In determining the tax deductibility of items purchased at the Auction, the IRS indicates that no deduction is allowable except to the extent that the taxpayer can show that his or her payment exceeded the fair market value of the item or services received. The IRS also requires receipts from the recipients organizations for any donation of $250 or more. Your payment receipt is your IRS receipt. Please keep it on file for your records. Please consult your tax advisor for further tax information.
Items purchased under the “Fund A Need” category are fully tax deductible.
The members of the Auction Committee apologize for any omissions or typographical mistakes contained in this Auction Item Catalog. We greatly value the support and generosity of all our volunteers and donors and regret any errors.
The Cornerstone School does not accept responsibility for any items once purchased.
