Stroll through this 6,400 square foot screened, outdoor enclosure with subtropical and tropical plants and hundreds of living butterflies. Inside, view more than 13,000 scanned and actual Lepidoptera speciments on the "Wall of Wings" and learn about butterfly and moth biology. See scientist working in laboratores, preparing specimens and rearing new butterflies. The Museum's McGuire Center is the world's largest facility dedicated to research and education about butterflies, moths and global biodiversity, and houses one of the world's largest collections of Lepidoptera specimens.
