Winning bidder will receive 3 violin lessons, each lasting half an hour.  Lessons are only valid for absolute beginners.

About Chris:

Chris Mandell is a certified Suzuki violin teacher, and also took Suzuki lessons herself as a child.  She took lessons on scholarship with Julian Olevsky in college, and played with various orchestras and early music ensembles at that time as well.  Chris has played with an all-women's folk/rock band (recorded on Redwood Records), and supported herself as an itinerant street violinist in Europe for two summers.  She has experience as a preschool teacher, 3rd and 4th grade teacher, and toy-making teacher. 

These lessons would be suitable for children or adults age 4 and up.  Winners of the auction must contact Chris Mandell within two weeks of auction close.  One parent is encouraged to observe all three lessons. No other adults or children may be present.

Lessons will be held at Chris' home in West Roxbury.  She has cats, so this offer would not be suitable for those who are allergic.
