Gift certificate includes 4 half-hour lessons on the violin or viola at Michelle Parker's home studio in Washington Square, at a mutually convenient time.  This item is for grades 3 through adult.  The student will need to supply their own violin which can be rented.  The lessons can be used anytime in 2009.

Michelle Parker has been teaching violin and viola for 25+ years and was on the faculties of New England Conservatory and Milton Academy for over 12 years.  She still teaches at the All-Newton Music School and has a private studio at home.  She performs in area chamber groups and orchestras professionally.  She also plays some fiddle music and teaches it as well.

Kids and parents might see Michelle around Devotion in the daytime in Emily Baumbush's 3rd grade, Kristen DeCroix's 5th grade and the Intensive Learning Center run by Elisa Pendery.  She loves her new role at Devotion.
