The winning bidder will receive 4 days of MY GYM SPORTS CAMP for their child and 4 of their friends.  The dates do not have to be consecutive but do have to be reserved ahead.  Sports camp will be offered on Tuesdays starting 7/14 running through 9/1 from 1:30-3:30 in the afternoon.  Sports camp is reserved for children between 5 and 8 years of age.

My Gym sports camp is designed to develop your child's knowledge, skills, coordination, and strength in a variety of different sports such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball/baseball, and soccer. Two sports will be covered each session as well as different obstacles and drills. As always, we will make it fun and include some free time! A mid-session snack is provided

Our History:

My Gym was created in 1983 by William Caplin and Yacov & Susi Sherman, who opened their first two My Gyms in Santa Monica and Van Nuys, California. Utilizing their experience in the fields of sports, dance, early childhood development, kinesiology and gymnastics, they developed a program and facility where children actively participate in a variety of structured, weekly physical education classes to gain social skills and self-esteem.

In 1989, Cory Bertisch and Monique Vranesh, then recent graduates of the University of California at Santa Barbara, purchased My Gym in Van Nuys and experienced immediate success. From 1989 to 1994, the original My Gym founders, together with Bertisch and Vranesh, further developed the My Gym programming, refined their custom-made equipment, fine-tuned their systems of operation, and witnessed the popularity of their gyms explode.

In 1995, with their concept ready for duplication, the partners seized the opportunity for expansion by establishing My Gym Enterprises (MGE), the company responsible for franchising My Gym Children’s Fitness Center worldwide. To ensure the future success of this franchise business opportunity, the MGE founding team developed a detailed, comprehensive franchise package with extensive training and support systems, the quality of which is unparalleled in the child fitness industry.

Our Future

There are currently more than 200 My Gyms in over 25 countries throughout the world. Each year, more than one million children enjoy the age-appropriate, noncompetitive classes and birthday parties My Gym offers. By 2011, My Gym plans to have over 300 facilities in more than 50 countries.

My Gym recently launched its mobile program, which allows My Gym owners to reach more children than ever. My Gym anticipates that, by the end of the decade, over 10 million children worldwide will be attending a gym or experiencing My Gym classes through its mobile program.
