The online portion of Harlem Dowling Gala is now closed.  The auction ran from October 11, 2010 to November 2, 2010.  The live event will take place on November 4, 2010. Proceeds go to Harlem Dowling-West Side Center.

Auction items ranged from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. 

Harlem Dowling is one of the first charitable institutions in the United States dedicated to children, and the very first to provide for “children of color”.  It was founded in 1836 as the Colored Orphan Asylum and has an amazing history.  (www.harlemdowling.org/history.htm).
