This is a once in a lifetime experience. Considered by many to be one of the best restaurants in the world, it was built in 1890 as a French Steam Laundry, this rustic two-story stone house is surrounded by a country garden planted with vintage roses, perennials and seasonal herbs. The French Laundry Restaurant has an intimate dining room with 15 tables. Special Instructions
Reservations are required and taken two months in advance. This certificate does not guarantee a reservation. The gift certificate is valued at $480.00 and does not include tax, so the winner is responsible for tax and gratuity. The dining time is 3-4 hours with two prix-fixe menus to choose from. Reservations are taken two months in advance to the calendar date (i.e. Reservations for April 1st are taken February 1st). Jackets are required. No Jeans, Shorts or Tennis Shoes please. Reservations are not included with this item.
After the on-line auction closes, this item will be going to a silent auction taking place, in San Francisco, on December 7, 2009 for further bidding. Absentee Bidding is offered and encouraged. Absentee winners will be responsible for shipping with insurance charges. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items. Purchasers are bound by the restrictions specified by the donors. All auction items and services must be used by December 7, 2010 unless otherwise specified.
