8"x10" painting by Triton the California Sea Lion.  This is a red, orange and yellow painting on a medium blue shaded background on a canvas panel.  It is framed in a black frame with a metallic inner band and matted with a dark blue velvet look mat to an 11"x14" size. 

Triton creates his unusual paintings with his whiskers.  He dips his whiskers in the paint and then drags them across the canvas.  Triton appears to be "right whiskered," typically only using his right whiskers to paint.  Painting is just one of the activities that Triton enjoys as part of his training at the zoo.
