2009 EYC Boat Show Bash
The online portion of EYC Boat Show Bash is now open. The online Auction will run from September 16, 2009 to 5 PM October 10, 2009, when the Auction moves off-line to the EYC Boat Show Bash taking place on October 10, 2009 from 6 - 11 PM at the Eastport Yacht Club, 317 First Street in Annapolis, MD.
Proceeds go to two very worthy Annapolis 501c3 organizations. Annapolis Community Boating encourages the growth of Chesapeake Bay boating by providing opportunities for adults and youngsters to experience free sailing, paddling and powerboating with area mentors. The Eastport Yacht Club Foundation provides funding and leadership support to a variety of education programs that promote an appreciation of the Bay, of boating and the importance of maritime trades to this region. Visit the EYC Boat Show Bash website (http://eycbash.com) and view our Beneficiaries page to learn more.
Annapolis is about boating and the EYC Boat Show Bash takes place on the Saturday night of the US Sailboat Show, so many of our Auction items are tied to the water whether through travel, boats or decorating your home. So, tell your friends, family, community... Let the bidding begin!
This on-line Auction will close at 5 PM on Saturday, October 10th but you can still bid on! We would love to have you attend the Boat Show Bash and bid in person during our Silent Auction (6- 9 PM) and our Live Auction at 9:15 PM. However, if you cannot be there, check out your "Ultimate Bid" options on our On-Line Auction intro page at http://eycbash.com and indeed our entire site and our Raffle Extraordinaire! Raffle tickets, Event tickets, and Bash T-shirts can all be purchased on the http://eycbash.com website.
Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and mission. Elementary, middle school, and high school youngsters in Annapolis will benefit from the work of both organizations. Adults who want to have longed to "try" boating also benefit from the Free Sail program offered by Annapolis Community Boating. And in the long run the entire region will benefit from the EYC Foundation's outreach to promote and fund education in marine skills.
