Wow, hundreds of online bids were placed by supporters from the east coast to the west coast, and the online portion of the fundraiser closed Nov. 15. Then neraly 450 were on site "live" at the Heathman for the on-site auction. Lastly, a few brave souls from coast to coast also participated in our "After-Auction" event.

Many thanks to all, and mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau festival, set for November 19, 2010. Presented by the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest and co-organized with the Alliance, it will feature outstanding food by the Heathman Restaurant's Executive Chef Karl Zenk and Culinary Directory Philippe Boulot, wine from French and Oregon wineries, and an auction, all starting at 6pm on November 20, 2009.
