The Portland Youth Philharmonic Association supports two full symphony orchestras, a wind ensemble and one string orchestra for younger musicians. Each group is made up of outstanding young musicians chosen by open auditions each spring and early fall who are seated solely according to ability. They range in age from 7 to 22, come from communities across the region, and represent over 70 different schools. The group's Spring Concert (2010) will feature Poulenc's beautiful, emotional and exuberant "Gloria" with guest choir, the Pacific Youth Choir. This certificate is for a pair of tickets to the May 1, 2010 concert in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 7:30 p.m.
